Project Manager - Industrial Manufacturing

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to lead both domestic and international projects through all milestone phases. The ideal candidate will construct and monitor project timelines, ensuring the timely achievement of delivery milestones. This role requires exemplary customer service and communication to foster strong relationships between our clients and the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Lead domestic and international projects through all milestone phases.
  • Construct and manage project timelines to achieve all delivery milestones.
  • Facilitate and strengthen the relationship between the customer and the organization throughout the project.
  • Collaborate with team members and managers to monitor project progress, budget limits, and financials.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, and document and drive action / recovery plans as required.
  • Monitor the purchasing and on-time delivery of materials and contractors.
  • Organize project meetings, issue minutes, track and report project progress, and follow up on action items.
  • Assist in achieving the company's strategic objectives by aligning resources with goals and pursuing opportunities that meet departmental objectives.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of project management experience in industrial manufacturing machinery or equipment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is highly desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and procedure manuals.
  • Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles.
  • Strong oral and written communication, math, and computer skills.
  • Experience with MRP / ERP systems; SAP experience preferred.

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with manufacturing type contracts, preferably in the machine tool, automation, and / or industrial industries.
  • Knowledge of engineering terms and principles.
  • Travel up to 20%-30% of the time, sometimes internationally.

    • Work Environment

    The work environment is a newer, clean, and polite office setting. The dress code is business casual, and the hours are 8 to 5 with an hour for lunch. This is a great opportunity to learn about manufacturing and machine design / build, offering significant career development. The candidate will work collaboratively with the engineering team, manufacturing team, and back-office personnel. There are also classes available to enhance understanding of products and equipment.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Deer Park, New York.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $110000.00 / yr.
