• Pay Rate : Rate may vary due to local or non-local contracted rates : $53-$58 / hr combined Rate of pay. ( Pay packages are a combination of taxable hourly rates, tax free allowances for travel, housing, and meal allowances ) ( Rates are subject to change via client need)

Emergency Department / ER / ED RN Job Description :

Quickly evaluating incoming patients to determine the severity of their condition and prioritize care accordingly.

Performing a thorough physical examination, taking vital signs, and collecting necessary medical history.

Administering medications, starting IVs, performing advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) procedures if needed.

Cleaning and dressing wounds, managing bleeding.

Continuously observing patients for changes in condition, reporting critical findings to physicians promptly.

Effectively communicating with patients, families, physicians, other healthcare team members, and ancillary staff.

Accurately documenting patient assessments, interventions, and progress notes in the electronic medical record.

Maintaining composure and effectively managing stressful situations, including trauma cases and critical emergencies.

Required skills for an ER nurse :

Strong understanding of emergency medicine, critical care concepts, and advanced nursing skills

Ability to rapidly assess patient conditions, make quick decisions, and prioritize interventions

Efficiently managing multiple patients in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work effectively under pressure and remain calm in crisis situations

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care
