Deans Professional Services is hiring a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse - Full-Time Nights

Location : Texas Medical Center

Schedule : 12-Hour Night Shifts

Status : Full-Time | Nights Only

Salary Range : $89,000 - $130,000

Position Summary :

Deans Professional Services is currently hiring experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurses to provide high-quality care in a leading healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will be confident in a high-acuity environment and committed to delivering safe, compassionate care to mothers and newborns. Only candidates available for night shifts will be considered.

Responsibilities :

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to provide comprehensive obstetric care

Conduct nursing assessments, assist with labor and delivery, and document clinical interventions

Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth process

Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, standards, and safety practices

Required Qualifications :

Active

Texas RN License or multi-state compact license (clear of any stipulations or disciplinary actions)

BSN required (ADN and new graduates will not be considered)

Minimum 2-3 years of Labor & Delivery experience in an acute care setting

At least 3 years of total acute care RN experience

Current BLS certification

Updated resume with accurate job history and unit details is required

Night shift availability required - only applicants seeking night positions will be considered

Preferred Qualifications : Experience in extended women's services (antepartum, postpartum, NICU)

Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills

Clear alignment with night shift scheduling and role expectations
