Supply Chain Analyst
The Supply Chain Analyst will perform daily logistical support, planning, and execution of inbound and outbound shipments both domestic and international. You will perform analysis that supports ongoing supply chain monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of logistical operations and financial performance to include shipment, event, and brand profitability.
The role will manage inbound flow from scheduling appointments to time of receiver. Duties also include regular communication with carriers, the corporate transportation group, management and dock personnel. They will be responsible for planning inbound arrivals, ensuring carrier compliance, managing buffers and leading dock personnel.
How You Will Make An Impact :
- Create a daily transportation plan based on daily demand by optimizing the product flow into and out of the distribution network.
- Create methods for daily tracking and tracing of Import and domestic inbound and outbound shipments.
- Manage Ad Hoc International Shipments, generating customs documentation.
- Create, distribute, and maintain daily visibility reporting of all shipments.
- Create a daily transportation cost tracking system to capture all incurred transportation-related expenses.
- Develop KPI reporting for each third party carrier to be reviewed monthly.
- Interpret, record, and research carrier invoices to ensure billing accuracy.
- Develop strong relationships with transportation, operations, fulfillment centers, merchants & third party providers to ensure that Fanatics delivery standards are developed, measured, and met.
- Vendor onboarding and setup, ensuring seamless integration into the supply chain processes.
- Monitor and enforce vendor compliance with established procedures, regulations, and standards.
- Generate and analyze vendor compliance and performance reports, making recommendations for improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and cost savings.
- Optimize the daily routing board with consolidations and assign carriers to loads in the Transportation Management System (TMS) daily, following established rules and policies.
- Ability to work weekends and potentially after hours
- During holiday and peak periods, we will be required to work alternate shifts
What You Bring To The Team :
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics, Engineering, Finance, or equivalent combination of intellectual instruction and work experience.Required Knowledge :
Understanding of Supply Chain Management and Logistical principles, including but not limited to Inventory, Transportation, and DistributionGeneral Knowledge of International shipping and associated customs documentationWorking knowledge and experience in managing small parcel, LTL, and truckload / container shipments domestic and international.Experience Required :
2 4 years of Supply Chain experience. Experience utilizing MercuryGate transportation management systems (TMS) and Mercury Gate Edge Reporting Tool is a strong plus.2 - 4 years of Domestic Shipping ExperienceDesign and management of transportation lanes to optimize freight efficiencies resulting in lower total company cost.1 3 years of International Shipping ExperienceDevelopment and management of 3PL processes and relationshipsSkill and Ability :
Strong analytical skillsExceptional skills in MS applications including Excel, functioning knowledge of SQL a plus.Ability to collaborate with supply chain partners to optimize transportation performance.Proficiency in extracting and presenting relevant data to support key topics, ensuring clear and meaningful data visualization.Travel RequirementsAbility to nights, weekends and ad-hoc projects timesSchedules may vary during holiday and peak periods
