Pay Rate : $20.90 / Hour

DayTimeWed07 : 30 AM - 09 : 00 PM

Thur07 : 30 AM - 09 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or potential threats.

Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious behavior.

Communicate and collaborate with healthcare staff and visitors to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed.

Document incidents, observations, and activities accurately and promptly according to Allied Universal and client protocols.

Remain alert to potential hazards and / or unusual situations, taking appropriate action as required by site-specific procedures.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.

Possess an armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
