Maintenance Operations Analyst, AM - Lakeland
The purpose of this position is to be accountable for providing centralized guidance and leadership in establishing new assets for an optimal maintenance program, determining obsolete parts inventory, ensuring accuracy of cycle counts and other parts inventory, and ensuring standardized processes with associated controls across all Industrial Maintenance locations. This includes
- centralized coordination and leadership in the establishment of new assets in SAP for maintenance management
- establishment and monitoring of standardized processes and controls for parts room inventory for all Industrial Maintenance locations
- management of processes and controls regarding spare parts inventory valuation and associated adjustments for all Industrial Maintenance locations.

Required Qualifications
Preferred qualification, current Lakeland Distribution associateBe at least 20 years oldHave a valid drivers license and obtain authorization to drive a company vehicleAssociate of Science degree in Business, Accounting, or Inventory Management or equivalent experienceWorking knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel, Access, Outlook, and Word) and SAP or other Publix computer systemsA willingness to work a variable schedule including nights, holidays, and weekendsAbility to travel, including overnight stays and travel by airKnowledge of basic accounting principlesKnowledge of mathematics and statistical data analysisAbility to make critical parts-related decisions unsupervisedAnalytical and problem-solving skillsCommunication skills including training and presentationsInterpersonal and teamwork skillsAbility to handle confidential informationAbility to plan, organize and follow-through on projects and assignmentsAbility to work independently and multi-task, in a self-starting, highly productive, and results driven mannerHave the ability to work well with others and be a team memberShow enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work andShow commitment to Publixs missionSuccessfully complete a battery of assessments administered by Selection & Performance MeasurementPreferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Accounting, or Inventory Management2 years of experience performing Business or Accounting functions in a Distribution and / or Manufacturing environment5 years of Publix Manufacturing, Distribution experience performing maintenance functions as well as parts room and / or maintenance experience with intermediate to advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, & Access experienceIn-depth knowledge of the parts room in an industrial setting including knowledge of inventory cycle counts, inventory controls, parts receiving, and parts restockingIn-depth knowledge of maintenance assetsCurrent Distribution associateHours of Work : Monday - Friday; 8 : 00am - 4 : 30pm
Work Environment : Temperatures could exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit for an extended period of time.
