Heavy Equipment Operator

We're looking for a reliable and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our agricultural drain tile crew.

This role involves operating trenchers, excavators, and support equipment to install subsurface drainage systems on farmland. No GPS or laser systems are used all grading and elevation work is done manually or with basic site tools.

Pay rate is $25 per hour starting pay with a ton of OT. Schedule is Monday through Saturday 7am to 7pm.

Job Duties :

• Operate trenchers, excavators, and skid steers for drain tile installation
• Assist with manual grade setting using site levels, tape measures, and visual inspection
• Read basic field maps and tile layouts
• Work with crew leads to ensure proper installation and site prep
• Maintain clean and safe work areas
• Travel to job sites and work extended hours during peak seasons

Experience operating heavy equipment in agricultural or construction settings

Familiarity with drain tile systems and trenching

Valid driver's license (CDL preferred)

Willingness to work outdoors in various conditions

Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team

Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
