Overview

Lead UI / UX Designer Knowt (2025) at Knowt. We are seeking a creative, innovative, and enthusiastic individual to join our design team as a UI / UX Designer. This role involves researching, planning, and designing new interfaces for our web and mobile applications. This is a great opportunity for recent grads (up to ~3–4 years out of school) who are passionate about shaping the future of education. You will lead our design efforts, working directly with the CEO on a daily basis.

Base pay range

$65,000.00 / yr - $85,000.00 / yr

Requirements

• PREFER APPLICANTS IN THE UNITED STATES
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI / UX design projects that demonstrate creativity, problem-solving, and attention to detail
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma or equivalent
• Knowledge of user-centered design principles and UI / UX best practices
• Understanding of responsive design and a mobile-first approach
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for basic prototyping and communication with developers (nice to have)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
