Construction Superintendent

Construction Superintendent oversees all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to Barrancos high standards of safety and quality. This role involves managing workers, subcontractors, and materials while maintaining compliance with company policies, project specifications, and legal regulations.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Tracks and enforces schedule and cost-effective plan for completion of an assigned project within company guidelines.
• Establishes quality of work standards with subcontractors to ensure overall work is performed in a manner satisfactory to customers.
• Follows construction schedules and monitors daily and weekly progress to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Coordinates and schedules the work activities of tradespeople, professionals, and laborers, communicating to and via project lead to deliver instructions and project assignments as appropriate.
• Troubleshoots any issues involving workers, contractors, safety, quality, changes, or processes and expedites solutions to keep the project on track.
• Directs or conducts inspections to audit the quality of workmanship and materials and compliance with specifications and standards.
• Regularly inspects work for quality and timeliness; prepares and provides progress reports to owners; makes recommendations for necessary modifications.
• Thorough understanding of legal requirements relating to construction and building sites.
• Thorough understanding of quality building practices.
• Ability to climb ladders & lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal background check.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Clean driving record.
• Has Valid Drivers License
• Knows how to layout residential homes & commercial buildings
• Pay will depend on experience & knowledge
