Experience with the following software and tools : AutoCAD RSLogix 500 FactoryTalk View Specify components and document control systems for various types of automated equipment. Design electrical and pneumatic systems, program machine PLCs, and debug machinery. Certify machinery for customer run-off. Travel to customer sites for installation and startup of equipment.
We are looking for a skilled Control Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and programming control systems for automated equipment. The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in a related field and the ability to manage projects from concept to installation.
Responsibilities :
- Design and program automated equipment in accordance with company and customer specifications using standard procedures.
- Develop and implement safety circuit designs and programming via safety PLCs.
- Work with motion controllers including VFDs and Servos.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement associated safety devices.
