The Venue

View Boston, which encompasses the top three floors of the Prudential Tower, features immersive experiential exhibits and a bistro on the 50th floor, an indoor / outdoor cocktail lounge with a 360-degree outdoor viewing deck on the 51st floor, and a double high (24-foot) indoor viewing space on the 52nd floor. The Role

The Group Sales Account Executive is responsible for generating revenue through the sale of group tickets and events to key markets, including tourism, student travel, corporate, and social organizations. This role focuses on outbound sales efforts, relationship management, and strategic partnerships to drive group attendance and grow revenue.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of group clients, including tour operators, school groups, corporations, and event planners.
  • Prospect and cold call new business opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Achieve monthly & yearly ticket and revenue targets set forth by Group Sales Manager & Director of Sales.
  • Conduct site visits, attend trade shows, and represent View Boston at networking events to build industry relationships.
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate rates, and close group sales deals.
  • Work closely with the operations and events teams to ensure seamless group experience.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and provide regular reporting on sales performance and pipeline.
  • Collaborate with marketing on promotional materials and special offers for group markets.
  • Stay current with industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Education And / Or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, marketing or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in group sales, preferably in attractions, tourism, hospitality, or event sales.
  • Skills And Abilities

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
