What You'll Do
As a Sr. Process Engineer, you will play a key role in optimizing manufacturing processes and supporting new product development. Your responsibilities will include :
- Hold operators, maintenance, contractors, or other personnel to safety standards.
- Develop and conduct employee training sessions as needed for new equipment and processes.
- Develop and implement production methods and controls to meet quality standards in a cost-efficient manner.
- Recommend improved processes, procedures, equipment, and materials to enhance efficiency and product quality.
- Assist R&D in developing and scaling up new products.
- Investigate and provide remedies for manufacturing process problems.
- Establish working relationships with outside personnel to meet project objectives as required.
- Apply knowledge of current products, processes, equipment, and procedures to design and equipment analysis.
- Maintain detailed records and orderly files on all assigned projects.
- Evaluate equipment problems and design requirements of new or modified equipment.
- Investigate and resolve work-in-process problems.
- Review proposals of outside vendors regarding purchase or modernization of production equipment.
- Develop, implement, and communicate work instructions, procedures, and documentation to support responsibilities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Address compliance with DHS Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standards (CFATS) and related worker screening requirements as applied at the Midland, NC facility.
