V2X is growing! V2X is looking for a Senior Systems Integration Engineer II to join our team!

V2X is seeking a Senior System Integration Engineer to join our Engineering team in Indianapolis, IN supporting integration and platform-level testing of advanced systems including situational awareness displays, mission computers, avionics, sensors, mission equipment, and radar systems. You would be part of a collaborative team, who integrate next-generation avionics and weapon systems onto ground, sea, and airborne platforms. You would represent V2X at integration events with various Government customers and / or prime contractors. At those events, responsibilities include capturing and analyzing test data, troubleshooting any system issues that occur during the test event, communicating back to program leadership, and leveraging the Indianapolis-based team to root-cause any findings.

Responsibilities

Represent V2X at integration events with Government customers and / or prime contractors. Capture and analyze test data, troubleshoot system issues during test events, and communicate findings back to program leadership. Leverage the Indianapolis-based team to root-cause any findings. Support integration and platform-level testing of advanced systems including situational awareness displays, mission computers, avionics, sensors, mission equipment, and radar systems. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to integrate next-generation avionics and weapon systems onto ground, sea, and airborne platforms.

Required Skills

• Ability and willingness for extended travel to support onsite integration / test events at different domestic and international locations.
• Experience in installation, integration, testing, and troubleshooting systems for air, sea, and / or ground platforms.
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, requirements, and other engineering work products
• Knowledge and experience working with different electrical interface signals such as : Analog, Synchro, RS-422, MIL-STD-1553, ARINC-429, and / or Ethernet.
• Experience troubleshooting complex avionics and / or weapon systems including external interfaces and test equipment in real time when issues arise.
• Experience writing comprehensive test reports documenting test events
• Experience as the direct customer interface to successfully plan, execute, and document aircraft integration events.
• Demonstrated self-initiative and sound judgment to identify problems, conduct investigations, determine root cause, and coordinate solutions between stakeholders
• Excellent organization, communication, and project management skills.
• In-depth understanding of the System Engineering Lifecycle and processes.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
