In this role, you will have the opportunity to :

  • Design and deliver innovative education programs to support onboarding, ongoing education, and competency development.
  • Serve as a clinical leader and resource for frontline staff, connecting education, practice, and evidence-based standards.
  • Job Summary

    As a Clinical Educator, you will :

  • Assess, plan, coordinate, teach, and evaluate education and training programs tailored to your designated area and audience.
  • Develop alternative teaching methodologies based on effective learning principles.
  • Collaborate with clinical partners, educational facilities, and community agencies to enhance curriculum.
  • Manage orientation and staff development for new, transferring, and existing clinical staff.
  • As part of your responsibilities, you will coordinate orientation schedules, provide skills immersion and lab experiences, offer feedback, coaching, and mentoring, and ensure that all orientation documentation is complete. You will also evaluate ongoing progress and collaborate with managers regarding needs and concerns.

    It is essential to continuously develop, monitor, and evaluate orientation and professional development programs, seeking quality improvement opportunities and fostering consensus around educational interventions.

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program is preferred.
  • Three years of clinical experience is required.
  • Must possess a current unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
