As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a government location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and delivering outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff. Position Type : Full Time Pay Rate : $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule : DayTimeMon07 : 00 AM - 03 : 30 PMTue07 : 00 AM - 03 : 30 PMWed07 : 00 AM - 03 : 30 PMSat07 : 00 AM - 03 : 30 PMSun07 : 00 AM - 03 : 30 PM What You'll Do : Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities : Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any unusual activity or incidents in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client instructions. Assist visitors and employees with directions and information as needed while maintaining a professional presence. Collaborate with local law enforcement and / or emergency services when required by site protocols. Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and daily activities. Follow all site-specific procedures and protocols as directed by Allied Universal and client management. What We're Looking For : Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements : Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
