The Integrated Design and Advisory business vertical is one of the business verticals at Michael Baker International with more than 850 professionals located across the country. Established as a national professional and consulting services delivery platform, we unite architecture and engineering design expertise with strategic advisory services to deliver holistic and innovative solutions that address the business and project objectives of our clients. Integrated Design leverages the early involvement of all project stakeholders and key disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, structural and fire protection (MEP+S+FP) engineering, as well as architecture and planning. Were seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is excited to take on a role as a technical expert and team leader.

In this role, youll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our projectsleading the design of cutting-edge electrical systems while building strong relationships with clients and partners. Youll work alongside a talented team of engineers, architects, and designers to bring innovative, sustainable, and high-performance buildings to life.

What Youll Do

• Lead the design and development of electrical construction plans, including layouts, details, and specifications.
• Engineer comprehensive building systems including lighting, power distribution, and specialty electrical systems.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teamsarchitects, interior designers, civil engineers, and other building systems professionals.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Engage with clients, contribute to proposals, and support business development efforts.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $104,000- $181,000. The actual salary offered will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate.

Workplace Flexibility

The position can be located in multiple locations, dependent on project needs. Remote and Hybrid work is also supported.
