Responsibilities Work in a pediatric hospital setting serving both inpatient and outpatient populations Responsible for performing cardiac echo studies for pediatric patients Daily caseload of approximately 4-5 exams per session Day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM Five 8-hour shifts per week Travelers are prioritized for floating among units as needed You will be part of a patient care team reporting to the clinic manager Must be able to care for pediatric patients across a range of acuity Orientation includes up to 8 hours of billable modules, completed during orientation shifts Return staff must have a 1-year separation before being eligible to apply to travel positions Candidates who have been designated as non-rehire (DNR) from Rady Children's are not eligible No more than 10 days of RTO allowed, with none in the first week Candidates living within 50 miles are considered local and are not eligible Scrub requirements and other facility-specific rules to be reviewed upon assignment Requirements Minimum of 1 year of full pediatric echo experience, or 6 months with 100% pediatric patient population Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) in Pediatrics required Graduate of an accredited echocardiography training program or equivalent experience in pediatric or adult echocardiography Two recent supervisory references required, completed within the past year or from the most recent employer Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-623048.
