job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPrevious janitorial experience Accurate and detail-oriented Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work fast and efficiently Ability to follow established dress code policies and practice good personal hygiene Ability to learn appropriate chemical usage and proper equipment usage Ability to interact with guests, coworkers and management in a professional and courteous manner Ability to serve both internal and external customers Must be able to walk and / or stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to 8 hours Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel Must be able to reach and twist routinely Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects routinely Must have the ability to independently lift 25+ pounds routinely Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions Must have good eye hand coordination Must be able to operate foot pedals Work is performed throughout the property and may include excessive noise, dust and chemical fumes, flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays Must handle hazardous materials Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals Must be willing to clean body fluids when necessary High volume direct public contact
Pay Rate : $19.00 an hour with $2.00 an hour additional shift differential on swing and grave shift
Sign On Bonus : $2,000 hire on bonus is for new hires and rehires that are returning after 5 years or more. The bonus will be paid out in equal $665 / $670 portions after successfully completing 3 months, 6 months and 9 months of employment with Treasure Island Resort & Casino.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete cleaning duties including restrooms according to standard operating procedures
- Follow policies and procedures including maintaining a safe environment
- Maintain good working relationships and an effective line of communication and report hazards, issues and equipment malfunctions to supervisors
- Maintain clean working areas i.e. storage closets and equipment
