At Wright Water Engineers (WWE), were passionate about improving rivers, watersheds, and communities through innovative water resource solutions. As a Water Resources Engineer or Geomorphologist, youll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on meaningful projects such as :

  • Stream and river restoration
  • Floodplain modeling and regulatory support
  • Mud / debris flow analysis
  • Fish passage and barrier design
  • Stormwater design and watershed planning
  • Ditch and diversion structure design
  • Water quality evaluation and pond design

This is an opportunity to apply your skills in design, hydrology, and hydraulics while gaining experience on diverse projects that make a real impact.

What Youll Bring

  • Bachelors degree in civil / environmental engineering or a related geomorphology field
  • 15 years of relevant professional experience (ideal for early-career professionals)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD / Civil3D and hydrologic / hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, EPA SWMM)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • For engineers : Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification, or plans to obtain in the near future
  • Experience with floodplain regulations is a plus

  • Full-time position with a salary range of $70,000$95,000 (commensurate with experience, education, and skills)
