Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, onsite contract position is designed for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to serve students in a K-12 school setting located in Joliet, IL for the upcoming school year. The role supports speech and language development, working closely with students and school staff to promote communication skills and academic success.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide speech and language therapy services to K-12 students following individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Conduct assessments, develop therapy plans, and document progress
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
  • Maintain compliance with state regulations and district policies

Qualifications :

  • Valid Illinois SLP or SLPA license
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) required for Speech Language Pathologists
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
