Board level : Board Certification : Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery (ABTS)

Boards : Thoracic Surgery

Certifications : BLS, ATLS, ACLS

Shifts available :

01 / 26 / 26 7am - 2 / 2 / 26 7am

2 / 16 / 26 7am - 2 / 23 / 26 7am

4 / 13 / 26 7am - 4 / 20 / 26 7am

5 / 18 / 26 7am - 5 / 25 / 26 7am

6 / 22 / 26 7am - 6 / 29 / 26 7am

Skills / Procedures :

All aspects of adult cardiac and thoracic surgery, including CABG, valve surgery, thoracic aorta, and pulmonary resections.

Vascular procedures related to cardiothoracic practice preferred but not required.

Heart and Lung Surgery (required)

Vascular experience preferred to complement practice needs.

This program is supported by six Physician Assistants who first assist in surgery and share call responsibilities matching the MD schedule. PAs and APRNs make hospital rounds and see consults, while three additional APRNs provide clinic coverage Monday through Thursday each week.
