Job Title : Control Room Operator Dry Line

Position Purpose
To ensure safe efficient operation of the Dry-Side cooking process while meeting all customer requirements. This position will require a candidate to be knowledgeable in the operation of Programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems. Both will be used to monitor and control dry line operations. PLCs are hardware devices that perform real-time control tasks, while SCADA is software that monitors and analyzes data.

Primary Function
Complete all necessary documentation for shift duties.Perform comprehensive dry process pre-operation checklist upon reporting to duty.Manage raw material inclusion with shipping, supervision, and leadershipCommunicate effectively with all team members to maintain cooking process at a high level with expected projected outcome via SCADA system.Monitor overall performance of entire dry process system to ensure GMPs, SMPs, HACCP, etc. are followed and report any irregularities or non-conformance issues and problems promptly to maintenance and management.Collect frequent samples of condensate from dry line floor for data inputs in control room.Remain in constant communication with the QA lab as to finished goods testing results. Make necessary adjustments to cooking and dryer times based on system data to ensure optimal results.Pass useful information and data along to the next shift by way of e-mail and by verbal communications at shift change.Represent the control room as primary point of contact via radio or telephone.Maintain cleanliness in the control room office area.Facilitate antioxidant application by refilling as needed and checking for proper inclusion. Will coordinate refilling through Supervisor and with the assistance of other associates.Serve as champion for continuous improvement for the dry process operation in conjunction with other control room operators and management.Ability to teach / train teammates in the safe / efficient operation of the dry processPhysical Demands :
Normal duties of this job should not require lifting over 75 lbs. Lifting more than this amount will require additional person(s).Ability to walk on wet floors.Bending.Grasping.Standing.Working Conditions :
Must be able to work in hot humid environment for up to 12 hours at a timeMust be able to sit and monitor screens for 80% of the timeWill have to go out on dry line floor, which is hot and humid, and perform routine sampling and testing of condensate as part of regular job duties.Core Values
