Job Title : Control Room Operator Dry Line

Department : Production / Dry line

Reports To : Production Supervisor

FLSA Status : Non-Exempt / hourly paid

Position Purpose

To ensure safe efficient operation of the Dry-Side cooking process while meeting all customer requirements. This position will require a candidate to be knowledgeable in the operation of Programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems. Both will be used to monitor and control dry line operations. PLCs are hardware devices that perform real-time control tasks, while SCADA is software that monitors and analyzes data.

How they work

Read sensors, process data, and trigger outputs. PLCs are often installed near the machinery they control.

Collects data from sensors and machines, analyzes the data, and provides operators with real-time information on display screens.
