If you're a math teacher, statistician, data analyst, or anyone with a solid foundation in mathematical principles and logical thinking, we would love to provide the training you need to thrive in this role.Key Responsibilities :Learn COBOL Development :You will be trained to write, maintain, and enhance COBOL applications, primarily for financial and business systems.Problem Solving :Apply mathematical and analytical skills to troubleshoot, optimize, and improve legacy systems written in COBOL.System Maintenance :Work on maintaining and enhancing existing COBOL programs, ensuring they are running efficiently and accurately.Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams :Work closely with business analysts, system architects, and other developers to understand requirements and develop solutions.Documentation and Testing :Help create documentation for software and systems, and participate in the testing process to ensure high-quality deliverables.Continuous Learning :Stay updated on emerging technology trends and be willing to expand your skills to other programming languages and technologies as needed.Qualifications :Bachelors degreein Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field. (Teaching experience in mathematics is a plus!)Strongproblem-solving abilitieswith a logical, structured approach to tackling challenges.A passion for learning new concepts, technologies, and systems.
