Foundry Fellow
The Foundry at the University of Virginia is seeking passionate, entrepreneurial-minded students to join our team as Foundry Fellows. In this role, analysts will provide vital support to UVA entrepreneurs, assist in the daily operations of The Foundry, and contribute to various content and special projects under the UVA Innovates banner. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the world of startups while developing valuable skills in event coordination, project management, and customer service.
This position is open to being a federal work study position.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with organizing and executing events at The Foundry.
- Help maintain and manage the Foundry space to ensure a welcoming and productive environment for all users.
- Coordinate with visitors, student entrepreneurs, and external partners to facilitate connections and provide support.
- Assist UVA entrepreneurial teams by helping them access resources and guidance.
- Work on content creation and special projects as directed under the UVA Innovates initiative.
Time Commitment
Part-time position, 10-20 hours per week during the school year, with potential for summer employment.Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate academic commitments.Compensation and Perks

Must be a full-time University of Virginia student (undergraduate or graduate) in good standing, meeting the requirements of the UVA student employment handbook.Strong interest in entrepreneurship, startups, and innovation.Ability to work independently and solve problems with minimal supervision.Comfortable in a customer-facing role, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications
Experience or coursework in business, entrepreneurship, or related fields.Prior experience in event management, project coordination, or community-building roles.How to Apply
