Job Description

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Full-time Monitor Technician to work 7PM-7AM

Responsibilities

• Documents and interprets telemetry rhythm strips at intervals and with patient changes.
• Performs independent check of strips to include : time, PR interval measurement, QRS measurement, QT measurement, ectopy and baseline rhythm.
• Assigns telemetry monitoring as ordered by physician.
• Effectively communicates telemetry-related patient information to members of the health care team.
• Continuously checks telemetry monitoring system to ensure proper working order.
• Demonstrates knowledge of escalating medical emergency and Code Blue process.
• May perform relevant duties as needed.
