Parking Technician (Weekend Support / Part-Time)

Location : Richmond w / Ability to Travel within 50 miles

Department : Operations / Maintenance

Reports To : Maintenance Manager or Facility Supervisor

Employment Type : Part-Time

Schedule : Primarily weekends and on-call as needed

Position Summary :

We are looking for a skilled and dependablePart-Time Parking Technician to perform routine maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and minor repairs across our parking facilities. This position plays a key role in ensuring operational uptime during weekend hours by responding to technical issues such as malfunctioning gates, ticket dispensers, pay stations, and access control systems.

Key Responsibilities :

• Respond to service calls for malfunctioning parking equipment (gates, pay stations, ticket machines, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, or software issues on-site
• Perform minor repairs and adjustments on access and revenue control equipment
• Complete routine inspections of parking facility systems to ensure functionality and safety
• Report major issues or needed parts to management and escalate to vendors when required
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and time spent
• Support operations staff with system restarts, resets, and customer service during downtime
• Communicate effectively with customers, management, and remote support as needed
