About The Position

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of PreOp / PACU experience, must have completed at least 1 travel assignment

License : RN

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS

Must-Have :

• EPIC experience required
• Proficiency with IV starts and phlebotomy
• PACU skills in critical care drip management, vent management, chest tubes, trach management, CVL management, and cardiac rhythm interpretation

Description :

We are seeking an experienced RN for our PACU unit.

This role requires a strong background in both PreOp and PACU settings.

The RN will be expected to work in various surgical specialties, including Trauma, Orthopedic Trauma, Spine, and Vascular.

Daily case volume includes approximately 55 cases that encompass OR, Endo, and Cath Lab.

As part of the team, the RN will collaborate with all staff members and contribute to a positive work environment.

Weekend rotations are required, including sharing workspace and collaboration during those shifts.

The role includes an average of two call shifts in a six-week schedule with a 30-minute response time.

The ideal candidate will possess a high level of flexibility and adaptability within the unit.
