Build To Rent - Disposition Analyst - Arlington

It is engaged in the construction and sale of high quality homes designed principally for the entry-level and first time move-up markets. The company also provides mortgage financing and title services for homebuyers through its mortgage and title subsidiaries.
DHI Communities is a multifamily development division of D.R. Horton, Inc. DHI Communities is currently looking for a BTR-Disposition Analyst. The right candidate will participate in the monetization of Build-To-Rent (BTR) investments and provide analytical support and assistance to the Managing Director and Director of Dispositions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Participate in the development of disposition strategies for BTR investments
- Determine optimal sell timing to maximize value and accurately forecast quarterly sales goals
- Review broker opinion of values to ensure accuracy of the pro forma and projected valuation for BTR investments prior to a marketing launch
- Present well-supported arguments for or against specific investment opportunities
- Participate in the disposition process including broker selection, integrity / accuracy of offering materials, marketing process and closing
- Assist in gathering and reviewing due diligence materials in the data room that is shared with potential buyers during the due-diligence process
- Maintain a disposition summary and monthly dashboard for all BTR projects including name, division, location, projected valuation and sale timing for internal forecasting and reporting
- Maintain a disposition tracker showing launch date, broker, expected offer date and closing date for all BTR dispositions
- Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
- Analyze the overall market and monitor industry trends to identify or what will impact dispositions
- Ability to travel overnight
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Economics or related field1 to 3 years of commercial real estate, private equity, or investment bankingKnowledge of advanced Excel financial modeling, formulas and functions including pivot tables, and conditional formattingExcellent written and verbal communication skills, able to summarize conclusionsAbility to deliver effective and engaging presentations to a variety of audiencesHighly organized and able to focus under pressure while balancing competing priorities and meeting tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracyGoal oriented, self-starter that takes initiative to effect change with continuous improvement in multifamily underwriting processProficiency with MS Office and emailPreferred Qualifications
