Overview

The Maritime Section are looking for two weekday Seasonal Patrol Officers on the River Fal during the summer season.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake general maritime duties related to the collection of mooring, anchoring, berthing and pontoon fees.
  • Assist with minor maintenance, refuse disposal and enforcement of local Bye-laws as necessary within the Ports of Truro and Penryn.
  • Assist with the day to day running of Malpas Marina.

Details

  • Working pattern : Monday to Friday. One Patrol Officer will work 08 : 00–12 : 00 and the other 16 : 00–20 : 00, with some flexibility to meet service needs.
  • Bank holiday working is necessary as part of this role.
  • Salary : £10.30 per hour.

    • Additional information

    This seasonal position will be from the beginning of May until the end of September 2021. This is an interesting role in a beautiful setting, with a busy season expected from local and visiting vessels.
