As a Security Guard - Retail Center Patrol - Full Time in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the property. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, interacting with visitors and staff, and providing outstanding customer service. You will be a key part of a team that values integrity, teamwork, and innovation, all while contributing to a welcoming environment. Pay Rate : $21.71 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Tue 04 : 00 PM - 04 : 00 AM

Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sat 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sun 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents within the location.
  • Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and / or law enforcement as needed.
  • Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding daily activities and / or incidents as required by site procedures.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Applicants who are comfortable using a computer or tablet are preferred.
  • This position is primarily a driving post and prior experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
