About The Position

Must-Have : Experience with floating to other Behavioral Health units

Description :

This position is for a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse.

The duration of the assignment is 9 weeks.

The shift is night, working three 12-hour shifts per week.

The hours per shift are from 6 : 45 PM to 7 : 15 AM.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in Behavioral Health.

A South Carolina license or compact license must be in hand prior to starting.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Safety Care certification is preferred but can be provided during the first month of assignment if not already held.

The staff-to-patient ratio is 1 RN to 5 patients.

If floated, the ratio will be 1 RN to 7 patients.

The position requires floating to other Behavioral Health units as needed.

Four weekend shifts per month are required (Saturday and Sunday).

First-time travelers are accepted, though prior travel experience is preferred.

No on-call requirement is associated with this position.

The candidate should be flexible and able to accommodate changing needs.

It is important to be aware that during hurricane season, employees may be assigned to emergency response teams.
