Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting to urgent care
Perform common procedures such as laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, and wound care
Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests
Prescribe appropriate medications and provide patient education
Document encounters accurately in the EMR
Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure efficient operations and patient satisfaction
Schedule :
Full-time (3 x 12-hour shifts per week)
Rotating weekends
No on-call requirements
Compensation & Benefits :
Hourly pay : $55–$75 / hour (≈ $103K–$140K / year), depending on experience and clinic location.

Qualifications :
Licensed FNP-C or PA-C in North Carolina
Active DEA, BLS, and ACLS certifications
1+ year of urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience preferred
DOT certification is a plus
Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient service skills
Required : Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Certification
