Role Responsibilities
Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLPAssist in implementing individualized speech and language goalsSupport students in both 1 : 1 and small group settingsDocument student progress and maintain accurate recordsCollaborate with teachers, SLPs, and other school staff to support student successIdeal Candidate Profile
Active SLPA license in MassachusettsExperience working with school-aged childrenStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to follow treatment plans and adapt to student needsComfortable working in a dynamic and collaborative school environmentMinimum Requirements
Must be a graduate of a SLPA program with an associate's degree, or have a bachelor's degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders programSuccessful completion of a minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work experience or its clinical experience equivalent as required by state and / or contractCurrent certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the State of PracticeComplies with all relevant professional standards of practiceOne (1) year of prior professional Speech-Language Pathology Assistant experience preferredComplies with all relevant professional standards of practiceTB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicableCurrent Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)Must meet all federal, state and local requirementsMust be at least 18 years of ageBenefits
