Position Title : Nurse Manager – Outpatient Surgery
Location : Arlington, TX
Position Type : Full-Time | Onsite | Permanent
Compensation : $84,843 to $127,275 + Full Benefits (based on experience)
Work Schedule : 12-Hour Shifts (8 : 00 AM – 8 : 00 PM) | Mixed Schedule with Rotating Weekends

Key Responsibilities
Maintain 24-hour responsibility for unit supervision, staffing, and patient care delivery.
Coordinate and monitor activities that support safe and efficient surgical services.
Assist the Director in implementing performance improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Manage financial resources for the unit, including budgeting and resource allocation.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development to staff nurses and surgical team members.
Requirements
Education & Licensure
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Active Texas RN license or RN Compact State License.
BLS certification from an approved HCA vendor.
ACLS certification (must be obtained within 6 months of hire if not already certified).
PALS certification (must be obtained within 6 months of hire if not already certified).
Experience
Minimum 2+ years of recent acute care leadership in Surgical Services required.
3–5 years of experience as a staff nurse in the operating room or other surgical setting required.
Prior management experience preferred, or demonstrated leadership capability.
Cardiovascular experience preferred.
