Senior Software Engineer – ORION Ground Software Support Group

SOFTWARE OBSOLESCENCE TEAM

Location : Denver, CO (Onsite)

Salary Range : $118,000 – $134,000 annually

U.S. Citizenship required due to program requirements

Overview - The Senior Software Engineer wiil support the Software Obsolescence team to help build, manage, and maintain the Software Obsolescence Roadmap for the Orion program. The candidate will develop software solutions that provide analysis features for cost avoidance with respect to obsolescence upgrades.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Extensive experience with software development
• Knowledge of obsolescence management principles and practices.
• Experience with relational database development and management.
• Experience with Java and REST API.
• Experience with Dev Ops, IT, security software, or asset management.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze End-of-Life and End-of-Support software needs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in human spaceflight, with a focus on software development and integration.
• Solid communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience / combined education.
• Must be a US citizen due to program requirements.
