Pediatrics Physician

This Critical Access medical center in South Georgia is seeking a board certified / board eligible Pediatrician to join the hospital staff in a traditional office-based setting to provide inpatient and outpatient services. This employed physician will receive a competitive salary based on MGMA guidelines, contractual benefits (including participation in health, disability, and malpractice insurance programs) relocation expenses and educational loan assistance, as well as, office setup and support from the medical center administrative management team. • Strong referral base from the OBs
• Office is open Monday-Friday 8-5
• No weekend clinic hours
• Call is 1 : 2 shared with FP physician in town- very light, hardly any calls some days
• See 20 - 25 patients per day
• Admit to Bacon County Hospital
• Newborn Rounding
• Level I Nursery with 180 annual deliveries
• Cover emergency C&D only at OB request Rare

The Hospital was originally built on Wayne Street in 1952 through the efforts of community leaders and with the help of Hill-Burton grant funds.
