Description : Position Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Billing Manager to lead our Rheumatology billing and front office departments . This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing, optimizing revenue cycle processes, and managing front office operations to support exceptional patient service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily operations of the billing and front office teams.
- Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations specific to Rheumatology.
- Monitor and improve revenue cycle performance, including claims submission, denials management, and collections.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative leadership to streamline workflows.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payer requirements and industry changes.
Requirements : Qualifications :
Minimum 5 years of medical billing experience , preferably in a Rheumatology or specialty practice.Proven leadership experience in managing billing and / or front office teams.Strong knowledge of medical terminology, CPT / ICD-10 coding, and insurance guidelines.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Experience with EHR and practice management systems.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with eCWCertified Professional CoderKnowledge of front desk operations, including scheduling and patient intake.
