We have multiple Radio Frequency Technician positions open in our Dallas office!

Summary : Softel Techsource LLC in Dallas, TX is seeking a Radio Frequency Technician to perform the following duties :

Day-to-day Job duties :

• Setting up equipment, configuring testing settings, and inspecting completed work to ensure all hardware is secure, antennas are level, hangers are properly fastened, proper support is in place, and adequate weatherproofing has been installed.
• Checking and running appropriate power, ground, or coaxial cables.
• Connecting and testing underground or aboveground grounding systems to perform drive and walk tests.
• Collecting RF drive or walk test data at a site and (or) cluster level and submitting post-process reports.
• Analyzing drive testing data using RF data collection tools such as TEMS, XCAL, etc.
• Handling E911 calling, hardware monitoring, troubleshooting, interference analysis, and optimization.
• Testing tower transmission components using sweep testing tools or software.
• Reading work orders, blueprints, plans, datasheets, or site drawings to determine work scope.
• Testing malfunctioning telecommunications equipment to isolate sources of malfunctions, using test meters, circuit diagrams, polarity probes, and other hand tools.
• Submitting reports related to project status, progress, or other work details using computer software.

This position does not have supervisory duties.

REQUIREMENTS : High school diploma or equivalent required, with at least one (1) year of proven experience in a similar role or related position that provided the necessary skills and abilities.
