(3rd Shift) UT Level II Inspector

Overview

Element has an opportunity for a NDT - Ultrasonic Inspector, Nas 410 Level I and Level II to perform Testing using specific techniques on aerospace products. Uses knowledge of products, manufacturing processes, equipment set-up, and NDT methods to process parts for inspection following specific operating procedures. Interprets and evaluates test results. This position will also be required to travel to perform setups / calbriations / repairs to UT systems across the Element network.

Salary : $25- $35 / hr DOE

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations, nondestructive tests, and evaluations for acceptance or rejection determinations with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications
• Accurately record results and associated data of nondestructive tests and evaluations
• Maintain familiarity with the scope and limitations of the method of NDT being used and exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of Level I technicians.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment. Actively contribute to company safety culture by observing all company safety policies and procedures
• Use caution and proper handling of company property, equipment, tools, and customer product
• Maintain a high level of energy to deliver customer parts on time or ahead of schedule.
