The Graphic Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, designing and executing communications concepts and materials across Hope’s various platforms.
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative designs and visually pleasing materials to promote positive internal and external communication.
- Assist with the execution of Hope’s social media strategy through designing content, across the following channels : Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Ensure Hope’s social media presence aligns with branding guidelines, language and style.
- Design materials for Hope’s various ministries through both digital (website, social media, etc.) and printed (booklets, posters, postcards, etc.) materials.
- Design content for church-wide events, such as Christmas, Easter, Vacation Bible School, Taste of Hope, etc.
- Design Lutheran Church of Hope apparel for Café Hope.
- Design sermon series graphics throughout the year.
- Presence and participation at West Des Moines worship services and primary events.
- Extra duties as assigned.
Skills, Education and Experience Required

Attends worship at Lutheran Church of HopeBachelor’s Degree in Communications, Design, Art, New Media, or other related field2+ years of related work experience preferredHours :
