Job Summary

GA-ASI, an affiliate of General Atomics, is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Program Manager III to lead complex, high-visibility programs focused on High-Frequency (HF) communication systems and Free Space Optical Communication (FSOC) technologies. You will lead cutting-edge programs that advance communication technologies for defense, aerospace, and commercial industries. By understanding how our products enable customer missions, you will play a key role in delivering solutions that make a difference. The ideal candidate will manage programs from inception through delivery, ensuring technical excellence, timely execution, and alignment with customer mission objectives. This role also requires business development expertise to identify new opportunities and expand GA-ASI’s portfolio in advanced communication systems.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Program Management : lead and oversee all aspects of HF or FSOC communication programs, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery; manage schedules, budgets, and resources; collaborate with cross-functional teams; identify and mitigate risks; prepare and deliver program updates to stakeholders; drive program success within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Customer Focus : develop understanding of customer missions and operational requirements; act as primary liaison with customers; translate needs into actionable requirements; monitor feedback and adapt strategies as needed.
• Technical Expertise : provide technical leadership for HF or FSOC programs; work with engineering teams to meet requirements and optimize performance; support system-level testing and troubleshooting.
• Business Development : develop and execute strategies to grow GA-ASI’s portfolio; identify opportunities and lead proposal development; build relationships with customers and partners; conduct market analysis; represent GA-ASI at events and meetings.
• Leadership : foster a collaborative, results-driven environment; mentor team members; drive continuous improvement in program management processes; lead complex, multi-disciplinary programs.

Job Qualifications

Job Type : Full-Time

Salary range : 112,320 - 205,058
