Registered Nurse - Outpatient Float Pool

This position qualifies for a $10,000 commitment incentive, paid in three (3) installments over a three (3) year commitment. Payment is made after each twelve (12) month period of work completed.\n\nThe Float Pool at UNC Medical Center is a fantastic opportunity to work in various outpatient and procedural areas, serving approximately 150 clinics, mainly around Chapel Hill. As part of this role, you will have the chance to rotate through different specialties and teams on a daily basis, making each workday unique and dynamic. • Education : Identify and address personal learning needs, attend relevant education programs, and utilize patient education materials. Assess the learning readiness of patients and their families.\n
• Evaluation of Care : Determine expected patient outcomes, revise care plans as necessary, and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to enhance continuity of care.\n
• Implementation : Deliver competent care to patients, perform necessary bedside testing, and prioritize tasks according to patient needs, while adhering to established policies and procedures.\n
• Leadership : Set professional growth goals, collaborate with team members, and contribute to performance improvement activities.\n
• Patient Assessment : Assess data from complex situations to prioritize patient care needs and develop supportive relationships with patients' families.\n
• Planning : Collaborate with patients and their families to develop care plans, taking cultural and ethnic considerations into account.\n
