The DBT Center for Trauma and Healing specializes in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Therapy. We help individuals struggling with suicidal and self-harming behaviors, frequent mood swings, family and peer conflict, anger outbursts, impulsivity, eating disordered behaviors, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and poor coping skills. We offer individual, family, and group therapy sessions designed to provide comprehensive support and healing.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Clinical Therapist located in Plymouth, MI. The Clinical Therapist will be responsible for providing individual, family, and group therapy sessions, conducting mental health assessments, developing treatment plans, and offering crisis intervention. The Clinical Therapist will also engage in case management, coordinate with other healthcare professionals, and maintain accurate patient records.

Qualifications

• Skills in Social Work and Case Management
• Expertise in Psychology and Mental Health
• Experience in Family Therapy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
• Licensure to practice as a Clinical Therapist in the state of Michigan
• Experience working with individuals with trauma is a plus
