Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ER RN for night shifts in a small emergency department with a 1 : 4 nurse-to-patient ratio and GA or compact RN license required.

Responsibilities

Work in a small, 4-bed Emergency Room within a 25-bed facility

Night shifts scheduled as 3x12s one week and 4x12s the next, 19 : 00-7 : 00

Blocked scheduling with every other weekend required

Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 4

May be the only RN in the ER, with potential support from MS floor RN or LPN

Charting system is CSPI, with willingness to train

Main responsibilities include providing acute care in an ER with limited staff

No requested time off (RTO) permitted during the contract

Not accepting former permanent employees as travelers

Travel pairs are not accepted

Two professional references required for consideration

Potential for floating support from MS floor staff

Requirements

Active GA or compact RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration

Minimum of 2 years of ER experience required

Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, and PALS in hand; CPI preferred but not required

First time travelers accepted with prior Emergency Department experience
