The Assistant Program Manager and Process Manager will support the Program Manager in overseeing a government logistics and provisioning effort while taking on process management responsibilities for facilities planning and compliance. This role involves assisting with program execution, coordinating deliverables, and ensuring that facility processes align with government standards. The Assistant PM and Process Manager will be instrumental in ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and optimizing operations for the program's success. Travel up to 25% may be required to support on-site assessments, coordination, and client engagement.
Responsibilities
Program Support and Coordination :
- Assist the Program Manager in overseeing program execution to achieve Initial Operational Capability (IOC) readiness.
- Act as a secondary point of contact for internal teams, subcontractors, and government stakeholders.
- Help manage the development of program deliverables, including logistics plans, maintenance strategies, provisioning technical documentation (PTD), and training material.
- Provide support in coordinating cross-functional teams and tracking deliverable timelines to ensure alignment with program milestones.
Facilities Process Management :
Assess facility requirements, including workshops, storage areas, and testing spaces, to support operations and maintenance.Develop facility layouts and segregated areas that meet government standards for storing and repairing government-purchased equipment.Ensure facilities are designed to comply with ANSI GEIA-STD-0007 and other relevant standards for long-term system reliability and maintainability.Facilitate facility tours, collaborate with Shield AI, and coordinate recommendations for infrastructure improvement.Documentation and Compliance :
Develop detailed logistics and facilities documentation that aligns with government requirements.Ensure all processes and deliverables comply with applicable standards, including ANSI GEIA-STD-0007 and MIL-STD-1552.Maintain accurate documentation for audits and government reviews.Risk and Process Management :
Identify risks related to logistics , facility planning, and process execution; propose mitigation strategies.Evaluate and improve processes to reduce risks and enhance operational efficiency.Monitor and maintain compliance across all facility and program-related processes.Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement :
Coordinate with government representatives, subcontractors, and Shield AI to align program and process objectives with mission requirements.Work with internal teams to gather and analyze data for facility and program planning.Ensure clear communication and alignment between stakeholders for seamless program and facility process execution.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Facilities Management, Logistics, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics , process management, or program support, preferably in defense or government programs.Familiarity with ANSI GEIA-STD-0007, MIL-STD-1552, or related government standards.Strong analytical and organizational skills with experience in infrastructure and operational process evaluation.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Visio, and project management tools.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with diverse teams and stakeholders.Work Environment and Conditions
This hybrid role involves remote and on-site work, requiring travel up to 25% for facility assessments, client meetings, and government site visits. The Assistant Program Manager and Process Manager must effectively handle multiple responsibilities, ensuring adherence to government standards and achieving program objectives .
