ER RN Travel Job Details Location : Austin, TX 78704 (South Austin) Assignment Length : 13 weeks Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour night shifts) Hours per Week : 36 Start Date : September 29, 2025 End Date : December 29, 2025 Facility Setting : 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 Fast Track, 5 behavioral health beds Weekend Requirement : Rotating weekends Dress Code : Navy blue scrubs Estimated Weekly Salary : $1360 - $1460 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience Current certifications : ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS Trauma nursing experience required Strong multitasking, teamwork, and self-starter skills Preferred : Meditech EMR experience, behavioral health / holding inpatient experience, CPI certification ER Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients in a fast-paced hospital setting Perform and assist with emergency procedures : splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central lines, airway support, rapid infuser use Support behavioral health patients using de-escalation techniques and safety protocols Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including paramedics, LVNs, and patient care technicians Maintain accurate patient documentation using MEDITECH EMR Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, ensuring patient safety and privacy Discover rewarding travel nursing jobs in Austin, Texas!
