COMPANY DESCRIPTION

Amy Zier + Associates is a pediatric therapy clinic in Lincoln Park, Chicago, IL that specializes in the treatment of children with emotional regulation, autism, sensory integration disorders, ADD / ADHD and learning and emotional challenges. We utilize a relationship-based, developmental approach to therapy, which emphasizes the importance of the parent-child relationship in child development. Our ultimate goal is to help children develop skills necessary for self-regulation, sharing of attention, reciprocity, exploration, and learning.

JOB DESCRIPTION

OTs become an expert on each childs neurobiological profile and use this information to empower the child and all adults in the childs life. 1-5+ Years Experience. Flexible scheduling.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Evaluate and treat OT clients 26-30+ hours a week, (paid hourly so the more you work, the more you make) with scheduled time outside of sessions for clinical support, professional and personal development, and clinic meetings and supervision.

OTs PROMOTE CHILD DEVELOPMENT THROUGH :

Parent and family coaching and development

Observations and support in the school and home environment

Sibling, family sessions and support

REQUIREMENTS

Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills

Strong desire to learn along with professional drive

Recognize characteristicsin our own individual neurobiological profile and how these impact the therapeutic process; demonstrate consistent efforts toward individual emotional understanding and regulation as a result

Masters Degree or Higher

Minimum 1 Year experience for Junior Therapist, 3-5 Years for Senior Therapist

State and National License
