Job Description
The Psychiatrist in Street-based Services collaborates with multidisciplinary outreach teams to evaluate, diagnose, and treat high-need clients on the streets of LA County.
- Develop and monitor treatment plans, including low-barrier medication prescriptions.
- Conduct in-person assessments and collaborate with medical and social teams.
- Provide emergency consultations and ensure safe, quality care.
- Document patient progress and communicate with social services.
- Qualifications include current BC / BE in Psychiatry, valid medical licensure, DEA cert., and ≥2 years' experience with severe mental illnesses and substance use.
- Preferred skills : experience with unhoused populations, medication-assisted treatment, bilingual in Spanish.
