Key Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive Neuro-Ophthalmological evaluations for conditions affecting the visual pathways and eye movement control.
- Diagnose and treat visual problems related to the nervous system , including unexplained or sudden vision loss .
- Perform Neuro-Ophthalmologic testing , including :
Visual acuity and visual field testing
Pupillary reactivity assessmentsColor perception evaluationOcular alignment testingOptical coherence tomography (OCT)Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatment options, and ongoing care plans.Collaborate within a strong interdisciplinary team that includes :RN, MA, Neuro-Ophthalmology Technicians, MSW, Patient Support Coordinator, PT, OT, and Vestibular Rehab .
As part of a national Multiple Sclerosis Society Partner in MS Care , contribute to high-quality care for MS patients.Conduct General Neurology visits as needed while building the Neuro-Ophthalmology practice.This opportunity offers a highly specialized and collaborative environment for a Neuro-Ophthalmology expert looking to work with cutting-edge technology and a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
