Now Hiring : Residential Drivers – Jacksonville, TX
We’re looking for dependable Residential Drivers to join our team in Jacksonville, TX. In this role, you’ll operate a heavy-duty truck to collect household waste from curbside carts. Working with a co-driver, you'll share responsibilities throughout your shift to maintain safe, efficient, and timely service for our community.
Compensation : $21 - $24 hourly
Responsibilities :
- Drive a heavy-duty truck safely in Jacksonville, TX, US, to collect residential household waste
- Perform pre-and post-trip inspections on vehicles to comply with DOT regulations
- Report any safety concerns or service issues promptly to the Route Supervisor / Manager or Dispatch
- Attend and actively participate in all mandatory training sessions, briefings, and meetings
- Work closely with the Route Supervisor / Manager to optimize route efficiencies
- Immediately inform management of any incidents, accidents, or service interruptions
- Communicate customer requests effectively to the Dispatch or Route Supervisor / Manager
- Ensure all bins are emptied and leave customer locations clean and orderly
- Follow assigned routes diligently and accurately complete end-of-day paperwork
- Assist other drivers as necessary to meet customer demands
Qualifications :
To qualify for the position of Residential Driver in Jacksonville, TX, US, the candidate must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience operating a vehicle that requires a CDLThe candidate must possess a current Class A or B Commercial Driver's License with an air brake endorsementLegally eligible to work in the United States and at least 18 years of age.The role requires physical abilities such as motor coordination, handling objects weighing more than 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.The work environment involves outdoor settings and driving a video / GPS-monitored vehicle, with exposure to elements like dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremesThe schedule includes a 10-hour shift, Monday to Friday, with overtime and weekend availability as neededAbout Company
